Track MyStory allows you to track your life’s timeline across multiple parallel branches. A key feature is its ability to integrate with platforms like GitHub, enabling you to link life events with project development and view progress across everything at a glance.
I created Track My Story for a simple reason: lately, I’ve been doing a wide variety of things—ranging from standard projects and learning foreign languages to trying my hand at new sports. Given this multitude of activities, I wanted a way to keep all my life events in one place. However, existing tools had significant drawbacks.
First, they required me to manually log events, which meant I would usually give up after just a few days. Another major issue was the inability to nest events; for instance, I wanted to create a "Projects" category and then assign specific development phases to it.
That’s why I decided to build my own app. To eliminate the need for manual entry, I added integrations with GitHub, Anki, and arbitrary websites. This allows my history to build up in the background, while I simply add key events every now and then.
