Hi PH 👋
This one started as an internal itch: we were constantly pasting two versions of a changelog, a config, or a translated string into a diff site — and every one of those sites either pushed us to sign up, stamped something on the output, or shipped our text off to a server to compute a diff. For text that's often copy we'd rather not leave the tab.
So we built a tiny, fast comparator that runs entirely in the browser. Type or drop two texts and it highlights the differences: removed lines red, added lines green, and changed lines get character-level highlighting so you can see the one word that moved. Side-by-side or unified, up/down arrows to hop between changes, and a live count of added / removed / changed / unchanged plus a timing readout (it's usually ~1 ms).
It's deliberately not a full merge tool — just the fastest way to answer "what changed here?" for two snippets. Free, no account, nothing uploaded.
We'd love feedback on the character-level highlighting and the jump-between-differences UX. What would make this your default "diff two things" tool?
