TechnoHelps Image Optimizer
Local WebP conversion, verification & repair for WordPress
Convert JPG and PNG to WebP on your own WordPress server. Optimize individual or bulk images, verify generated files and thumbnails, repair missing variants, and preserve originals. No cloud API, license key, or image credits. WordPress Plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/technohelps-image-optimizer/
We built TechnoHelps Image Optimizer for WordPress site owners who want a straightforward way to create WebP images without sending their files to a third-party compression service.
One problem shaped the plugin: a bulk-optimization job can report completion while some expected thumbnail WebP files are missing. So, beyond local JPG/PNG-to-WebP conversion, we built file-level verification and a repair workflow for originals and generated thumbnail sizes.
It also supports single-image and selected Media Library optimization, recoverable bulk processing, original-file preservation, and optional best-effort delivery for images inserted dynamically by custom JavaScript popups.
Everything included is free. There is no API key, image-credit system, or paid activation.
If you manage a WordPress site, I'd love to hear what you find hardest about image optimization or WebP delivery. What workflow would you want us to improve next?
