I'm the maker of Subtrack. Here's the quick story:
6 months ago I checked my credit card statement and saw a
$120 charge for a design tool. I had used it TWICE in the
entire year. I completely forgot it was active.
Then I went through everything and found I was paying for:
• A VPN I hadn't used in months
• A cloud storage plan I upgraded "temporarily"
• A meal kit subscription I thought I cancelled
• Two streaming services I barely watched
Total waste: $80+/month.
I looked for a simple tracker. Everything I found either
wanted to link to my bank account, charge me money, or
both. I just wanted a simple list — what do I pay, when
does it renew, how much do I spend total.
Couldn't find it. So I built it.
