I built this because I was frustrated with stock tools that either want your broker login, give you opaque AI picks, or charge a subscription for basic screening.
StockAgent takes five well-established financial metrics, applies sector-aware thresholds (a bank with high D/E is normal, the same number for a tech stock is a red flag), and gives you a plain score you can trace back to raw numbers.
The privacy angle was non-negotiable for me — your holdings and buy prices stay in Chrome's local storage and are never transmitted. I built a runtime guard that hard-throws if a private field ever leaks into an outbound payload.
