steamAF
Know when a Steam deal is actually worth buying
I kept buying Steam games on sale, then seeing a better (or the same) price later. Got tired of FOMO buys. steamAF checks the current regional Steam price against ~2 years of history and labels it Worth it, No rush, or Wait. "On sale" alone isn't enough. Sign in with Steam for wishlist + lists, optional AI on a big list, and a Next Sale calendar. Works as a PWA.
I built this to help me decide which games are actually worth buying on promo. Sometimes the price looks really good, especially during a sale, but that same price comes back often. Then I just end up buying out of FOMO.
I want to buy when it's actually low at that moment, not a recurring promo that can show up anytime and can wait.
I know you can do this on SteamDB, and I do that a lot too. But this app just focuses on finding the better price. Not as accurate as SteamDB, but at least I have a baseline to decide.

Who hunted steamAF?
steamAF was hunted by ryansetiawan. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
