A new kind of social media, a community powered platform
This social network is a combination of Twitter and Reddit. It takes the best of both worlds where you can both follow the people you love, and have great, in-depth conversations with them and others. A clean, simple interface that facilitates conversation.
Hey everyone. I created this social network out of a personal want. I use and enjoy both Twitter and Reddit, but each of them is lacking what the other has. Twitter is great for following notable people (and sometimes interacting with them!), but the UI doesn't facilitate conversation very well. Reddit is great for conversations, but not good for following people. There needed to be something in between the two, which I personally waited for someone else to create. To this day, no one has. So I decided to just create it myself.
Introducing Squabbles! You can follow the people you find interesting, and you can have in-depth conversations as well. You can "tweet", and your followers can see your posts. You can join conversations with multiple people, in a format that facilitates it, and you can browse communities on subjects you love.
I believe this can be a huge success, but I need your help! What do you need to do? Just use it! The biggest problem with social networks is the cold start problem. We need users to get more users!
