Hi everyone, I'm Akshaya, the founder of SpeechPal. Whenever I had an important interview, presentation, or meeting, I knew exactly what I wanted to say in my head. But when I actually started speaking, my thoughts never came out the way I intended. I would lose my train of thought, use filler words, or struggle to explain simple ideas clearly. For a long time, I thought it was a communication problem. Then I realized it was really an articulation problem. I wasn't lacking ideas—I just wasn't expressing them well. I tried different speaking apps, AI coaches, and communication tools, but they all felt generic. They would tell me to "be more confident" or "slow down," but none of them answered the question I actually cared about: What am I doing wrong, and how do I fix it? That's why I built SpeechPal. SpeechPal analyzes how you speak, identifies the areas where you're struggling, and gives you personalized drills to improve them. Whether it's articulation, clarity, structure, pacing, vocabulary, or filler words, you'll always know what to work on next instead of guessing. One feature I'm especially excited about is AI Roleplay. I believe confidence doesn't come from motivation—it comes from preparation. Before an interview, presentation, sales call, meeting, or even a difficult conversation, you can rehearse it with SpeechPal. Instead of walking into the real conversation hoping everything goes well, you've already practiced it. After every session, SpeechPal shows you where you hesitated, where your articulation broke down, whether your pace felt natural, how well your thoughts were structured, and how you could have expressed your ideas more effectively. That feedback becomes your personalized practice plan for the next session. You can also create upcoming events inside the app, and SpeechPal tailors your practice around them so you're improving the skills you'll actually need before the big day.
