Hey, I’m Kristoffer. I built SpeakingMonkey while learning Polish because I wanted more specific feedback when practising speaking.
You listen to a sentence, read it aloud, and inspect the result word by word. You can compare your recording with the reference and try again.
Early Reddit users have already helped me find and fix several rough edges. I’d love to hear which language you try, whether the feedback is useful, and where the scores disagree with what you hear. It uses automated speech assessment, so those disagreements are especially useful feedback.
