I am German and my wife is Colombian so i really need to learn Spanish quickly. I tried Duolingo for some time and I got a lot of awards and streaks but I still could not speak or understand Spanish at all... and I guess that's why because you don't actually speak with these apps - you do multiple choice tests.
ChatGPT & co allowed AI finally to speak decently so I started building my own personal language teacher. Now everybody can have his or her own personal language teacher who is always available when you have a few minutes and you don't need to be embarrassed anymore - it's only an AI :)
