Hey Product Hunt,
SortedResearch started with a frustration I kept hitting: a team knows exactly which question they need answered - how would customers group these 40 features, which of these 12 benefits actually matter, can anyone find the thing in our navigation - and then the quote comes back at five figures and the question quietly gets dropped.
So we built the four studies that answer those questions, and made them talk to each other:
- Card Sort - how do people group these?
- Findability (tree testing) - can they actually find it, and what did they try first?
- Pairwise - what matters most, plotted against how well you're doing on it
- Best-Worst (MaxDiff) - force a ranking on a long list, with a must-have line
The part I'm most pleased with is the bridging. Run a card sort, then push the groups your participants invented straight into a MaxDiff with one click, instead of rebuilding the study by hand. Graham, our research assistant, imports your screener, names those groups, runs quality checks and drafts the report, so you start from an edit rather than a blank page.
A few deliberate choices: it works properly on phones, it handles 60+ cards without people giving up halfway, and responses start at $5 with no minimum and no contract. If a response fails quality checks you aren't charged and we replace it.
Free plan is one project and up to 10 participants, no card required.
