SnapPDF
The private PDF converter. No ads, no watermarks.
The private PDF converter. Clean, watermark-free PDFs from Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more. No ads, files deleted in 24 hours. 50p a file, £1.99 day pass, or £5 a month.
Hi PH 👋
I'm a 22-year-old management student in London. SnapPDF exists because I watched classmates upload their CVs to "free" PDF converters covered in ads, with no idea what happens to the file afterwards.
SnapPDF's deal is simple: your file becomes a clean PDF, nothing is stamped on it, nothing is tracked, and both files are deleted within 24 hours. Even the analytics are cookie-free and self-hosted.
Honest disclosure: I can't code. I built this in about 24 hours, pair-working with Claude — the conversion engine (headless LibreOffice), Stripe payments, the lot. Happy to answer questions about that process; it changed how I think about what one person can ship.
Pricing is 50p a document (no account), £1.99 for a 24-hour unlimited pass, or £5/month. Would genuinely love feedback on conversion quality — throw your weirdest files at it.

Who hunted SnapPDF?
SnapPDF was hunted by Emmanuel Owusu. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
