Snaplet was founded in 2022 by Peter Pistorius, co-creator of RedwoodJS. For years, Peter experienced the frustration of not having good data to code against. His insight was that developers are at their best when they focus on what they’re best at: coding, not wasting time on tedious tasks like writing and maintaining seed scripts, or messing with production dumps. That's why he formed Snaplet, and collectively, our vision is to help developers get back into flow by giving them production-like data they can code against, in a snap!
With our new tool Snaplet Seed, we intend to:
