Hi everyone, this is MarcX Studio.
We built Snap Spell for one weekly routine: the school sends home a spelling list, and a parent reads it out for the test. Snap Spell turns that list (scanned, pasted, typed or imported from a PDF, Word or Excel file) into automatic dictation. Each word is read aloud one to three times, with a pause between words so your child can write on paper, and afterwards you mark each word right or wrong. Missed words go into Tricky Words for more practice; with Pro they come back on a spaced schedule. In Solo Test, where your child types the answers, British and American spellings both count.
It runs on iPhone (iOS 18.0 or later) and works with whatever list your child's school sends home.
It is free to download with no ads. The free version has 2 word lists of up to 100 words. Pro (unlimited lists, natural AI voices, the full review plan) is $2.99 a month, $19.99 a year or $29.99 for lifetime in the US store.
We would really like feedback, especially from parents and teachers: which part of the weekly spelling routine is still annoying after using it? Thanks for taking a look.
