I built ShimmerPic because OpenAI ships GPT Image 2.5 as two models, Flare and Sunburst, and every tool I tried made me pick one blind.
Here both run at the same credit price, and there's a page showing the same prompt on each so you can choose by speed or detail instead of guessing. Seven pairs are published, first result each, nothing cherry-picked.
The part I use most is reference-photo editing: attach up to three photos and the product or subject you upload stays recognisable while the scene, light and framing are rebuilt around it. That is what makes product shots, posters with real headline text, and mockups on actual objects work.
Two things I decided to be strict about: the exact credit quote is shown before you press generate, and failed generations are refunded. Results stay private in your own gallery until you download them.
