Maker here. I built Shelfie because my own screenshots folder had become a write-only pile, thousands of receipts, OTPs, tickets and wifi passwords I'd saved and could never find again.
Two things I refused to compromise on:
It works on cheap phones. Most organizer apps scan your whole gallery before showing anything, which cooks a budget phone and gets uninstalled. Shelfie shows a searchable shelf in about ten seconds and does the rest in the background while idle and charging.
It has no internet permission at all. It's an app that can see your bank messages and OTPs, so "trust us" wasn't good enough. The permission simply isn't in the app, so the OS won't let it upload anything, and you can check that yourself.
