Hi, I'm Dragos, the creator of Shatterhold.
My plan for Shatterhold is to build a shared world for several games. This first release is a free browser RTS where you can build a fortress with friends or play the monster trying to tear it down.
Builders get 30 seconds to find somewhere to settle before the hunt begins. Once the monster reaches your base, you have to decide whether to keep repairing, spend your resources on stronger defenses or get out. Walls lose pieces under attack, and you can watch those pieces return as you repair them.
I want to expand this world through new game modes and eventually other games set in the Shatterhold universe. The characters and environments I'm building now give me somewhere to start. For now, my focus is getting this first game right and learning what people enjoy about it.
I've been building with GPT-6 Astra in Codex, working through everything from the game rules to multiplayer and the details of how a damaged wall looks. A lot of the work has been playing, spotting something that feels wrong and going back to fix it.
You can try it now singleplayer or multiplayer, and there's a playable tutorial to get you started. It's still in development. I'd love to hear how your first match goes, and what else you'd want to play in this world.
