I built SecondFlame around a question I kept coming back to: as AI becomes more capable, what happens to human agency?
I didn’t want to answer that question with an essay or another AI chatbot. I wanted to turn it into an experience. In SecondFlame, there are no preset dialogue choices. You speak to the characters in your own words, and the AI responds within the story.
The game is intentionally short and can be completed in one sitting. It’s an experiment in using generative AI not just to produce content, but as part of the dramatic structure itself.
I’d especially love feedback on two things:
