ScreenVault
Find any screenshot from the way you remember it
ScreenVault is a private macOS visual memory app that lets you search screenshots in natural language, recognize text inside images, organize visual documents, find similar screenshots, and intelligently rename files.
Hi Product Hunt—I’m Shubs, the maker of ScreenVault.
I built it around a problem I kept having: I knew I had captured the answer in a screenshot, but I couldn’t remember the filename or folder. ScreenVault lets you ask for an image the way you remember it, combining meaning-based search with text found inside screenshots.
The product is designed as a private Mac utility. You choose the folders, the searchable library stays on your Mac, and no ScreenVault account is required. It also includes reviewable rename suggestions, similar-image cleanup, collections, tags, notes, and keyboard quick search.
ScreenVault is live with a 30-day full-featured trial and a one-time $39.99 lifetime unlock. I’d especially value feedback on which real-world searches feel most natural.
