A while ago, I was applying to an accelerator and had to record a founder interview on camera. I knew what I wanted to say, but the moment I hit record, it became surprisingly difficult to sound natural while remembering everything I wanted to cover.
I tried using a teleprompter, but constantly adjusting the scrolling speed was distracting. I’d either fall behind, get ahead, or lose my place whenever I went off script.
So I started thinking: why can’t a teleprompter just listen to me and follow along?
That became SAYSCROLL

I built it first to solve my own problem, but I realized it could be useful for anyone who needs to speak on camera or in front of an audience.
