I’m a father of two daughters, and the idea behind Safety On came from a very simple instinct: when they’re out, I want to know they’re OK. The world can feel less safe and less predictable than it did in the past. Whether that feeling comes from the times we live in or simply from being a parent, I wanted something that did more than show a dot on a map. I wanted an app that could help answer a more important question: if someone doesn’t arrive or stops responding, what happens next? That became Safety On. Safety On mode gives temporary journey and check-in protection. You set a destination, choose trusted people and start your journey. If a missed check-in remains unresolved, alerts can escalate to those trusted people. My Circle provides optional, consent-based ongoing location sharing for everyday use. Safety On is available on iPhone and Android, with Free, Plus and Premium options. It does not replace the emergency services or provide professional emergency dispatch. It is designed to help trusted people know when someone may need their attention. If Safety On can make my daughters’ world — and anyone else’s — even a little safer, I’ll be happy with what I’ve built. I’d genuinely value feedback on the idea and on whether the combination of temporary journey protection and optional everyday location sharing makes sense to you.
