Hey Product Hunt 👋
I built Refine Text because I kept running into the same small but annoying problem:
I would write something almost right, then spend too much time rewriting the same sentence again and again:
An email that sounded too blunt.
A message that needed to be clearer.
A prompt that needed better structure.
A sentence that was fine, but not ready to send.
Using AI helped, but the workflow was annoying:
Copy the text.
Open another app.
Paste it.
Ask for a rewrite.
Copy the result.
Go back.
Replace the original.
That felt like too much friction for something I do many times a day. So I built Refine Text. It is a simple macOS app that lets you improve selected text from anywhere. Highlight text, press a shortcut, choose a rewrite mode, and get a cleaner version in seconds.
You can use it for:
