We built Recento to solve a simple but frustrating problem: you just downloaded a file or took a screenshot, but now you’re wasting time trying to find it again. Recento solves this by giving you one shortcut to view all your recent files, beautifully organized in a lightweight overlay.
What is Recento ?
Press your custom shortcut, and Recento menu bar app floats over your active window, showing everything you’ve recently downloaded or opened: documents, screenshots, zips, folders, videos, and more. You can drag and drop directly into any app like Slack, Mail, Final Cut, Chrome, Figma , without ever opening Finder.
