Chrome Extension that will read texts on web pages for you
Text to speech reader for the web with Natural voices. Whether you're multitasking, have visual impairments, or simply prefer auditory learning, this extension will read text for you. - Listen whole page or selected part - Change narrator voice - It's free
Recently, I found myself diving deep into web blogs and thought, "There's got to be a better way to consume all this content." especially, while eating :)
That's when I started searching for a Chrome extension that could read the articles to me. But, oh boy, the options I found? Either super robotic voices or way too expensive for a not so bad voice.
So, I decided to make one. It was a bit rough around the edges at first – I mean, it was just me using it for a month or so. But after sharing it with a friend and getting some encouraging feedback, I spent a few more months polishing it up and now it's live on the Chrome Web Store
If you're also looking for a text-to-speech option that's more on the natural, AI-generated side and won't cost you an arm and a leg, I'd love for you to try mine out. Any feedback or bug reports would be super appreciated!
