Qart App

A pause button for the checkout moment

Qart is for people who love shopping but want to be intentional about what they buy. Instead of checking out while online shopping, save items to Qart. You set a pause period — a few days, a week, whatever feels right — and when it ends, you decide: still want it, pass on it, or wait a little longer. It's not a budgeting app, no spending limits; just a little space between wanting something and owning it. The things you still want after waiting, you buy. The things you don't, you pass on.

Hi Product Hunt! I'm Vanessa, the solo founder behind Qart. I built this app because I genuinely love online shopping — the browsing, the finding, the deciding-to-purchase. But I keep ending up with things I was excited about at checkout and indifferent to three weeks later. Qart doesn't try to stop me from shopping -- it just adds a pause between wanting something and owning it. In the Qart app, you save an item, set a pause period, and when that period ends you decide: still want it, pass, or wait a little longer. The things that survive the wait, you buy. The things that don't — you find out you never really wanted them. I'd love to know: what's something sitting in your closet (or house) right now that felt essential at checkout?
