I built PureFeed because I didn't want to quit social media. I wanted to quit the junk in it. Doomscrolling isn't a willpower problem; it's a feed-quality problem.
PureFeed scores every post in your Reddit, YouTube, X, and LinkedIn feeds on negativity, sensationalism, usefulness, learning, and opportunity. You set the thresholds. Hidden posts collapse into a "Why was this hidden?" card with the scores. Nothing is ever silently removed.
Design choices I care about:
- Transparent, not paternalistic: every hide is explained and one click reverses it
- Privacy-first: only publicly visible post text is read, cached by content hash, no user identifier
- Free tier is actually useful: 500 classified posts/day, all four platforms
PureFeed is built at Nexlr, my product studio. It's my third product, after GoTelugu and AEOlens, with more in the pipeline.
