I'm Pratiti, and I'm excited to share Puddly with the Product Hunt community. 💧
The idea came from a simple thought: hydration reminders shouldn't feel like annoying notifications. I wanted to create something that felt friendly and encouraging instead.
That's how Puddly was born—a cute desktop companion that actually walks onto your screen, reminds you to drink water with interactive messages and animations, and quietly walks away after you respond.
I built Puddly using Electron and focused on making it feel more like a tiny companion than a traditional reminder app. Along the way, I implemented animated character states, random and time-based reminder messages, draggable positioning, persistent preferences, a native system tray, Do Not Disturb mode, and support for both macOS and Windows.
This is the first public release, and I'm sure there's still plenty to improve. I'd genuinely love to hear your thoughts:
