I grew up poor and taught myself out of it, one structured step at a time, until I became a full-time engineer. Along the way I noticed something: ideas don't die from lack of tools. I tried Notion, Todoist, every system people recommend. They all stored what I was doing but never helped me actually do it. When I hit a wall, they had nothing to say.
So I built planr solo, nights and weekends around my frontend job. Next.js, Supabase, Gemini, LemonSqueezy. The whole loop from auth to AI tool-calling to realtime sync. One owner means your feedback can be live within days, sometimes hours.
