Pixel Soup makes your Mac's wallpaper for you. Pick a shape, a palette and a dither style, and it draws it live on your GPU, then keeps it gently moving behind your icons or freezes it as a still. Drop in a photo and it dithers that too. Hit one button for a random new wallpaper, or let it serve a fresh one every hour. Free to try for 3 days, no account and no card. Then one payment, no subscription.
Hey Product Hunt! I'm Madhav.
I got bored of my Mac wallpaper and nothing I found felt like mine, so I built Pixel Soup. It makes wallpapers right on your Mac and keeps them gently moving behind your icons, or turns your own photos into dithered ones.
It's $4.99 for launch week, one payment, no subscription.
I'd love for you to try it and tell me what you think. What should I add next?
