Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Fauzi, a designer who ended up building a Chrome extension because of a small problem I kept running into while working.
I often have YouTube playing while I design, research, or work, but constantly switching tabs or rearranging windows gets annoying very quickly.
So I built PiPPlay.
The idea is intentionally simple: keep your current YouTube video in a lightweight floating player while you continue doing everything else.
Over time I added the controls I actually wanted myself—seeking, volume, playback speed, captions, a sleep timer, and smoother video switching—without turning it into a bloated product.
I also wanted to keep the model simple:
Free. No ads. No account. Just PiP.
This is my first time putting PiPPlay in front of a wider group of users, so I’d genuinely love feedback—especially on how you use it in your actual workflow and what gets in the way.
