Hi Product Hunt! I'm Arielle, a home-educating mum and the solo founder behind Pip 11+ Practice. I built Pip because I wanted my own child to understand how to get to an answer, not just be handed one. Private tutoring for the UK's 11+ entrance exams often costs £40 to £60 an hour, which puts it out of reach for a lot of families, so I taught myself to build an app instead. Pip is a free app covering Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning for children aged 7 to 11, with short lessons that teach the method before children practise adaptively. There are no ads, and timed mock papers are available with Pip Pro. Since launching in mid-June 2026, Pip has reached more than 1,000 users, all with no marketing budget.
