Immersive real-time voice translation for video conferencing
Pinch is a virtual conferencing platform designed for cross-lingual communication. Real-time voice translation allows you to appear as a native speaker of over 30 languages.
Today we are thrilled to introduce Pinch - a virtual meeting platform with immersive voice translation across 30+ languages.
We started building Pinch for ourselves - over the past three years, we were leading remote international R&D teams across 6 countries. The language barrier was the biggest bottleneck to maximizing our team collaboration and rate of development. After trying all the existing solutions in the market - live caption, google translation, etc - we decided to build a user experience and AI translator designed for this problem specifically.
We know the accuracy/latency tradeoff in translation is crucial to get right. We decided to launch two meeting "modes" on Pinch:
1) AI Interpreter mode -- This mode is for highly accurate, context-aware translations in professional settings. An interpreter will join your meeting, ready to translate whenever needed.
2) Simultaneous mode -- Split-second translation with synchronized lip movements for fast, fluid conversations. As you begin to speak, your voice is translated and the other participant will see and hear you speaking their native language.
We're currently in public beta and available for free. If you give it a try -- drop us a comment! We'd love to know how we're doing in your native language and on our UX in general.
Cheers!

Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
