Hey PH community! I'm the maker of Picsion, and I'm thrilled to share it with you today.
The idea started with a personal frustration. I was trying to document a long app flow for a project β it took over a
dozen screenshots to capture everything. Sharing them in order was awkward, and anyone looking at them had to piece
together the story themselves. I wanted one image. So I built it.
What started as a simple "stitch photos together" utility turned into something much more interesting once I added web
screenshots and screen recording support. Turns out full-page web capture is surprisingly hard to do well on iOS β
handling dynamic content, knowing where to trim nav bars, avoiding duplicate frames. A lot of the engineering went into
making those invisible seams actually invisible.
A few things I'm especially proud of:
- The AI-assisted UI detection β it identifies navigation bars and tab bars so the stitched result doesn't repeat headers
across every image
- The manual adjust mode β because auto-alignment isn't always perfect, and you deserve full control
- Screen recording stitching β this one is the hidden gem. Record any app flow, and Picsion turns it into a clean visual
walkthrough
I'd genuinely love to hear how you'd use this. Are you a content creator, a developer writing docs, a designer sharing
flows? Drop a comment β I read every one and I'm here all day to answer questions.
If you run into any issues or have feature requests, don't hesitate to reach out. This is v2.1 and there's a lot more
coming.
Thanks for the support! π
