Hey everyone 👋
I built Photo OptiVert because I kept running into the same annoyance: needing to quickly optimize or convert a batch of images and not wanting to install a heavy app, sign up for a service, or upload my (often client) files to some random web tool.
I wanted something portable — plug in a flash drive, run it, done. No installation, no account, no internet dependency. Just drag your files in, pick a compression level, and get optimized output back, all processed locally.
Along the way it grew a few extra tricks I lean on myself as a dev — like dropping in a single SVG and getting clean, optimized code copied straight to your clipboard, or converting images to Base64 data URLs for quick use in HTML/JSON. This update adds HEIC support too, so iPhone photos slot right into the same workflow as everything else.
It's built for photographers, designers, developers, e-commerce folks, and anyone who just wants their images smaller and in the right format without fuss.
