I built OutreachLog because I kept making the same mistake: ship a project, post it in two places, get a small bump, and then forget to do anything else about it for months. The problem wasn't motivation — it was that "go promote your product" is a vague task with no checklist, no memory of what I'd already tried, and no system for the slow-burn stuff (outreach to newsletter authors, DMs to community moderators) that takes weeks before it pays off. OutreachLog is that system, built for solo devs: Know where to go — a curated directory of 75+ channels: launch platforms, communities, directories, newsletters, podcasts and forums. Each channel tells you its effort level, the rules you need to know, and which audience it reaches. Channels are ranked by your product's category so the most relevant ones float to the top. Track every promotion — pick a channel, tap a status (Planned → Posted → Done), and save the link. Record what came back: visits, signups, upvotes. The directory doubles as a coverage checklist — you can see at a glance where you still have gaps. Never lose a follow-up — add contacts (influencers, newsletter authors, podcasters), log every touchpoint, and set a follow-up date. The dashboard surfaces whoever is due next. The second email is almost always the one that gets a reply. No account needed to try it. Paste your project URL, pick a category, and you'll see your personalized channel list in about 30 seconds. The analytics (which channels actually produced signups) and multiple projects are part of a subscription. Everything else is and will stay free. Two things I'd love from you: if you use the channel directory, did any channel surface that you'd completely missed? And what types of channels would you add? The directory is the part I'm actively curating.

Who hunted OutreachLog?

OutreachLog was hunted by reseiwio. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
