Planning trips - or just looking for somewhere to go near me - I kept hitting the same wall. No single app showed all our public lands. The official apps cover national parks, AllTrails is trails, and everything else (national forests, BLM land, wildlife refuges, monuments) is scattered across six different government agencies and websites.
I've had the annual America the Beautiful pass ($80) for years, and it always bugged me that I could never find one place to see every site it gets me into - not just the famous parks. I wanted to see more places and get my money's worth.
So I built Our Lands: one free map of all 3,000+ federal recreation sites. Search by activity or fee, plan a road trip around public lands, and check exactly which sites your pass covers (it usually pays for itself in 2–3 visits).
