Hi, I'm Paul. I spent about 15 years in mechanical and electrical engineering before going full time on OriginForge in May 2026. OriginForge Connect is a small online town you play in the browser: fish, forage, farm, mine, smith, dig for treasure, do quests for the villagers and work towards your own house. To be upfront, it's made with heavy AI use. The code, pixel art and music are AI-generated from my briefs, and I direct it and decide what goes in. Right now originforgeconnect.com is a landing page where you can sign up early. Early sign-ups get an in-game gift when they first log in on the 31st. The game itself moves there on Saturday 31 October, the same day Lantern Night, a Halloween event, starts. It runs to 10 November. I'd welcome any thoughts on whether the page tells you enough to sign up, and what you'd want to see first when it opens.
