I’m the maker of Orchestrator, a free, open-source Mac app that brings repository browsing, Codex conversations and a Kanban board into one workspace.
The idea is VS Code × Codex × Jira: start with a task, work through it with Codex, then inspect the actual code changes. You can also open subagent conversations to understand what was delegated and what happened.
This is a public beta for macOS 15+, with Apple Silicon and Intel downloads. It uses your own supported Codex account; provider costs and limits apply. The beta is not yet notarized by Apple, so please read the installation guidance linked from the download page before opening it.
I’d love feedback from developers trying it on a small project: is it easy to follow a task from the board through agent activity to code review? Where does that flow become confusing? Issues and contributions are welcome.
Codex is supported now. Claude and local-model support are planned for future versions.
