Orbit

A local-first workspace for GitHub work

Orbit is a local-first workspace for managing your GitHub work in one place. Bring issues, pull requests, projects, and notes together without jumping between multiple GitHub tabs. Filter projects to focus on what matters, quickly find work with ⌘K, and favorite things you want to come back to. Orbit keeps your workspace lightweight and stores your work locally instead of relying on a separate server.

Do you also have a bunch of GitHub tabs open in your browser? When I’m working with a team, I often find myself jumping around between issues, PRs, and projects just to find what I’m looking for. I wanted to have all of that in one place, so I started building Orbit. You can separate your work from your team’s work, and also leave quick notes when you need to. I also wanted to keep it lightweight, so your work data isn’t stored on a separate server. Orbit is built to be local-first. It’s still a work in progress, so I’d really appreciate it if you gave it a try and let me know what you think !! 🪐 https://orbit1440.com/

Who hunted Orbit?

Orbit was hunted by Orbit. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
