Hi Product Hunt!!
I'm Devendra Tiwari, the founder of OpenShelf.
The idea came from a problem I saw repeatedly in college: students rely on scattered WhatsApp groups and general marketplaces to buy and sell books, furniture, electronics, and hostel essentials. Trust is often missing, and finding the right buyer or seller is difficult.
We're building OpenShelf to make campus transactions simpler through verified student communities. While the marketplace is our starting point, our vision is to expand into roommates, lost & found, and "looking for" requests to create a single platform for campus life.
We're launching in India first and would genuinely appreciate your feedback. What feature would make you use a platform like this at your college?
