Easily find the best maps for Oxygen Not Included
The tool allows a large database of maps to be quickly searched using complex criteria, making it easy to discover interesting maps. Each map’s properties are presented in a clear and visually appealing way, enabling quick overviews and easy comparisons. It's free for everyone.
I built a seed browser for my favorite game, Oxygen Not Included, to replace ToolsNotIncluded, which went offline at the end of 2023.
Since the game is much more enjoyable when you start with an interesting seed, I wanted to bring that experience back and make it even better.
I teamed up with the well-known ONI modder SGT_Imalas, who created a mod to collect map data. Shaun Barratt (also known as LeCoffee) secured the domain MapsNotIncluded.org and provided the computing power we needed, which made it possible to get everything up and running.
The project is fully open source and free of ads. We operate solely on donations.
Today, we serve nearly 1.8 million maps to the community.
