Why we built this: Understanding laws and legal rights is incredibly difficult for the common man in India, especially with the recent massive transition from the old IPC (Indian Penal Code) to the new BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) in 2023. We realized people needed a simple, free, and accessible way to get basic legal literacy without paying hefty consultation fees just to understand their fundamental rights.
What NYAYI does: ⚖️ Natural language AI chat to understand complex Indian laws in simple terms. 🔄 Direct mapping and conversion between old IPC sections and new BNS codes. 📚 A built-in legal dictionary for Latin maxims and complex jargon. 🚨 Step-by-step guidance on FIRs, cyber frauds, and constitutional rights.
We built this completely free for the public because we believe legal knowledge is a fundamental right, not a privilege.
