NudgeBot
Turn Slack updates into ticket updates automatically
NudgeBot helps engineering teams keep Jira, Linear, Trello, Asana, Notion, and GitHub up to date without another standup or status chase. It watches the Slack channels you choose, detects when work is shipped, asks for confirmation when confidence is lower, and syncs the right task automatically. You get cleaner boards, fewer follow-ups, and better visibility without changing how your team already communicates.
Product Hunt! NudgeBot is my solution to a common engineering problem where someone says “done” in a Slack channel, everybody assumes that the task is updated, and by the time you get to the standup or sprint review, the board isn’t right anymore.
Originally, my goal was to have this automation be simple – if there’s an actual update in Slack, why shouldn’t the board update itself? As I’ve been working on this more and more, the product got significantly opinionated – monitor only channels that your team selects, sync with actual assigned tasks, involve a human if the confidence of the algorithm is low.
NudgeBot supports Jira, Linear, Trello, Asana, Notion, and GitHub Issues as board integrations and offers your team a Slack-first confirmation flow and activity feed along with clean boards.
Feedback is really appreciated on onboarding, the PM-tool setup process, and the way NudgeBot approaches automation.
