I started NRI Dating after noticing that most dating apps treat Indians living abroad as just another demographic rather than a community with its own dating challenges.
For NRIs, finding someone often means balancing location, culture, language, family expectations and very different relationship goals — sometimes across countries.
I wanted to build something specifically around that experience. NRI Dating brings dating, friendship and matrimony together, with NRI-focused discovery, privacy features and Smart Match, where you can simply describe the kind of person you’d like to meet instead of working through endless filters.
The product has evolved a lot while building it, and there’s still plenty we want to improve. I’d love to hear what you think, what feels useful, and what you’d change.
