When I used other notes apps, I got really frustrated. Most of them had ads, premium plans, or too many unnecessary features. So I thought, why not make my own notes app?
I wanted to build something simple, distraction-free, and actually made for users.
A lot of notes apps today either have ads, push premium features, or depend on cloud systems which can raise privacy concerns. Notefull avoids all of that. It is a 100% offline, open-source notes app. There are no ads, no data collection, and no forced cloud sync — everything stays on your device.
Notefull actually started as a simple web app. But as I learned more, I realized its limitations in performance and overall experience. So I rebuilt it using Capacitor to make it work more like a proper Android app. This update is basically about building a strong foundation for future improvements.
I’m a 14-year-old student, and building this app helped me learn real development skills. In the beginning, I did use AI to understand things, but now most of the app and updates are built by me.
I am really proud that Notefull is live on the Play Store and has crossed 1K plus downloads
