I kept catching myself writing a thought in Notes, then jumping to Calculator for a quick sum only to forget the number or paste it wrong. That small friction adds up when you do it many times a week.
So I pushed toward one workspace: write naturally, run math where your notes live, and keep context on screen. The product grew from “smart notes” experiments into NoteCalc a clearer name for the same mission
