I kept putting off cleaning my camera roll because every photo app dumps you into a grid of 50,000 photos and says "go." That's not cleaning, that's a chore. So I built Nostaly to flip the model: instead of tackling everything at once, it shows you a small daily batch. Photos from today's date across past years. You swipe through them, keep the good ones, trash the rest. Five minutes and you're done. The daily batches are what make it work. You're not staring at your entire library feeling paralyzed. You're looking at 15-20 photos from one specific day, and it feels manageable. Some days you find gems you forgot about. Some days it's all blurry screenshots. Either way, you're making progress. A few things I'm proud of: Fully on-device. No accounts, no uploads, no servers. I don't want your photos. Review before delete. Everything goes to a trash tab first. You confirm before anything is permanently removed. Free, no subscriptions. All core features cost nothing. There's a one-time $1.99 to remove ads if you want. I built this solo. Would love to hear how you manage your camera roll, or if this daily approach clicks for you.
