I built mypdfcv after noticing how expensive and restrictive resume builders have become. Most tools charge a subscription just to export a PDF, which does not make much sense for something people only need occasionally.
mypdfcv is a simple, free, and open source alternative that runs entirely in your browser. No signup and no paywall. Just a straightforward way to create a clean and professional resume and download it.
I also used this project to explore working with AI agents in a real product, especially around content generation and structure.
