Hi Product Hunt 👋
MyPawBro started with a simple question: what if pet care felt more like a trusted neighbourhood and less like a marketplace?
I wanted somewhere people could get to know the Paw as well as the person; their personality, compatibility, favourite local places and the community around them.
The current experience lets you create a Pawfile, find your local Bro, explore Paws and paw-friendly places on a real map, understand Why this Bro?, and voluntarily Paw in Spot.
MyPawBro is deliberately inclusive of more than dogs. Cats, rabbits, birds and other companions belong in the community too.
I built this version with GPT-6 Astra as a product and engineering collaborator, alongside other development tools. Astra contributed to the Local Bro experience, compatibility explanations, Google Maps integration, responsive refinement and launch polish.
This is an early product and the current community uses demo members and locations where appropriate.
I’d especially love feedback on whether the local reciprocal-community model feels meaningfully different from a traditional pet-care marketplace.
