When I first started as a barista, I was amazed by how complex drink builds could be. A simple latte opens a Pandora's box of modifications. I had a few days before my first shift and really wanted to study, but all I had was a printed piece of paper with drinks and ingredients.
After working at a shop for a few years, I saw the other side of the counter: the immense time and money shop owners invest into onboarding, only to have new hires leave after just a couple of weeks.
I built My Barista Trainer to solve both sides of that equation. It gives owners an efficient way to teach their proprietary recipes, cut down training hours, and reduce ingredient waste. At the same time, it gives trainees an interactive, mobile-first way to build real confidence before Day 1 on the floor.
